Egbert Alexander Carter
DIRECTOR/FOUNDING MEMBER Egbert, fondly referred to as Uncle Bert is a retired Civil Engineer who has always expressed his patriotism through his continued loyalty to the Golden Arrowhead. He is committed to contributing to the development of Guyana by imparting his timeless wisdom which he considers useless, unless it is shared. Uncle Bert is known for his modesty, kindness and witty sense of humor.

Arun Richard
CO-FOUNDER/MEMBER Arun is a Civil Engineer and Project Manager who has elected to stay in Guyana and help build a society we can be proud of. He is passionate about enabling people-driven solutions and deriving strategic ways of solving problems. He is very liberal and challenges himself to see all perspectives, in an effort to arrive at a collective position which is fair to all.

Caitlin Vieira
MEMBER Caitlin was born and raised in Guyana but did her studies (Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees) in Canada and England, respectively. She is a psychologist who specializes in addiction and suicide. She now works mainly at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation and Woodlands Hospital. She sits on multiple Boards such as The Suicide Prevention Helpline, Phoenix Recovery Project, 100 Women Guyana and On the Wagon. She is passionate about her work and believes in the sharing of knowledge as a means of uplifting humanity.

Saeed Hamid
MEMBER Throughout his time in the public education system as a law student at the University of Guyana and the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad, Saeed Hamid has engaged meaningfully in discussions with persons from all walks of life. He is now pursuing a Masters in Human Rights Law in the UK where he continues to benefit from a collective solutions-based mindset with a shared investment in creating a better world. This is his inspiration for bringing about much-needed change in the lives of young Guyanese.

Lawrence Lachmansingh
FOUNDING MEMBER Lawrence is a governance and peacebuilding expert and activist. Having lived, studied and worked in almost thirty countries, he is equally well traveled within Guyana. The beautiful space and people drives his love for Guyana, to which he is fiercely committed. Worried about injustice and violence, Lawrence believes positive change can be achieved if the love and care of the people is harnessed.

Sara Bharrat
MEMBER Sara is a young writer who is known for her candid self-expression on her #withoutwax commentary which focuses on identity politics in Guyana. She believes that strong leadership, built on honesty and loyalty to all Guyanese is absolutely necessary for our country’s progress and development. She enjoys being a mother and constantly professes her love for local Guyanese food.

Phillip Williams
MEMBER
Phillip is a sociologist and digital media specialist with a passion for youth and culture as a conduit for national development. As the President and founder of the Caribbean School of Media Arts, Creative Director of PS Media Group, and president of Cine Guyana, he dedicates his time and expertise to providing training in digital media and the promotion of Guyanese films and filmmakers. With almost two decades working in the multimedia field, Phillip believes in the power of the audiovisual story and its ability to influence positive behavioural change.

Heetasmin Singh
MEMBER Heetasmin is a lecturer at the University of Guyana in the Faculty of Natural Sciences. She also works in the field of Natural Resources Management within Guyana. In her spare time, she does volunteer work with children, youth and women. Her greatest passion comes from helping others, in order to create a better society for all.

Fidal Bassier
MEMBER Fidal is a famous Guyanese photographer who is renowned for his beautiful captures and his stellar reputation as a professional who never disappoints. He is married and a father of two. He is passionate about making Guyana a better place for his children and future grandchildren; and he believes that national progress is only possible if we all worked together -- every single Guyanese playing their part in the developmental process.

Patrick Mc Andrew
MEMBER Patrick is an entrepreneur, procurement specialist and advocate with a passionate drive for the development of Guyana. Having lived in and out of the country has given him an expansive view of how Guyana is; as well as how it is perceived. He is a firm believer in youth development and community involvement and his mantra is "Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success” by Henry Ford.

Tarron Kemraj
MEMBER Tarron is Associate Professor of Economics (with tenure) at New College of Florida, the honors college of the State University System of Florida. Since 2009 he has written over one hundred columns, Development Watch, in Stabroek News. He was formerly Economist at Bank of Guyana and taught for one year at the University of Guyana. Tarron strongly believes that Guyana needs a completely new constitution that institutionalizes and legalizes shared governance and credible electoral challenges to the power-sharing incumbents from independent citizens.

Rawle Small
MEMBER Rawle is a proponent of self-determination in the individual, community and societal domains. He loves being in nature and is passionate about the interaction and relationship between our mindsets (the mental attitudes and beliefs we attach to a person, event and/or experience) and goal attainment. He notes that the subject of mindfulness, as well as its physiological and mental benefits should be taught and practiced at all post-nursery levels of education in Guyana.

Joshua Abdool
MEMBER Joshua Abdool is an attorney who was raised in Guyana but has begun practicing in Trinidad and Tobago. He will always consider Guyana to be home, and is ever optimistic that should Guyana effectively harness its resources, both human and natural, it is poised to lead the Caribbean. He remains passionate about legal issues and believes that unbiased legal analysis is always topical and beneficial to the public. Joshua intends to pursue an LL.M. in Oil and Gas Law in the near future.
